As the days creep by until the biggest summer festival in Toronto, another up and coming festival will be celebrating another year as one of the best in our nations capital. CARIVIBE is described as an annual celebration of culture whose purpose is to share the culture, cuisine and musical stylings of the Caribbean.
This year the festival will take place on June 21st at Petrie Island Beach (727 Trim Road) in Orleans, Ontario. The theme will celebrate this summer’s World Cup in Brazil, so attendees are encouraged to wear and bring their flags to celebrate the islands (which should be easy, since no islander I know leaves home without a flag to jump and wave too)!
Taking place from dusk until dawn, there will be nine hours of continuous music and entertainment from the likes of Dr. Jay, Moses Revolution, Destiny, Charlie B, the Ritmo Baile Dance School and many more. For more information or to purchase tickets visit CARIVIBE.com..and don’t worry, Caribana soon come!
