As the event filled Toronto Carnival weekend was winding down, one event that was heating up the city was the Sunday Blocko. This day time event held at Aria Entertainment Complex, featured food and two floors for party goers to enjoy.
On the first floor Haze, soca, reggae, and hip hop could be heard, with many people whining and jamming to the music. On the upper level, Pure Patio, provided island feel space for people to get their party on under the sun to hip hop and RnB. A crowd pleaser moment was when the dj played Robin Thicke’s popular summer banger “Blurred Lines”, with various groups of friends and new acquaintances coming together to do a two-step.
